Miller Park Stadium District Sales Tax

Glad to vote today to end the Miller Park Stadium District sales tax. Under the bill, excess revenues from the tax will be returned to the five Milwaukee area counties for property tax relief, public safety, parks and recreation or economic development.

A Hand for the Homeless

Whether or not we see evidence of it during the course of our day, homelessness affects each of our communities. Yesterday in the Assembly, we passed legislation to help those dealing with homelessness improve their lives, get back on their feet, and become independent of assistance programs.
