MAPLE BLUFF – Today Assistant Majority Leader Dan Knodl (R-Germantown) traveled to the Executive Residence to enjoy bratwursts, burgers, and some Wisconsin beer, with Governor Scott Walker and other state legislators.
“I’m looking forward to attending the bi-partisan Brat Summit. The Governor was nice enough to invite state lawmakers to the Executive Residence, and I’m hoping this event will help put an end to the recall madness that has engulfed the Capitol for the last year and a half.
“The Assembly has a record of passing bi-partisan legislation and I’m hoping this event will lead to even greater cooperation.”
In the 2011-2012 legislative session, over 95% of bills passed by the Assembly received bipartisan support.
