On November 8th, Dan was elected by the Assembly Republican majority as their new Assistant Majority Leader. This session, the Assembly Republican majority consists of 60 members, 25 of them Freshman. "I am honored that my colleagues selected me as their Assistant Majority Leader. It was clear after this election that the voters wanted change in Madison. We must now work to help our economy and let people know that Wisconsin is once again open for business. The voters have demanded fiscal restraint and accountability and the Republican Assembly Caucus will immediately go to work in that regard and I look forward to this opportunity."
